The person we are going to focus on in the production area is Dave McGibbon.

Dave is the assistant production manager. He works for Jim Howard who is the production manager. Dave is responsible for five different areas of production:

• Graphic Design

  • The artwork section is a substantial one and has 13 people in it

Dave is a tremendous enthusiast about balloons and all aspects of ballooning and has spent much of his working life working for Cameron’s.

• day to day management of production and ensuring that the process carries on as efficiently as possible
• administration
• planning
• looking after his staff - resolving problems, monitoring their work, planning schedules and so on
