Once the simulation is executed, outputs obtained from the calculation must be analysed. ON the basis that the calculation programs generate massive amounts of information, a tool that allows organising this information and extracting it in a way as suitable as possible for the analysis, is necessary. This it is the function of the graphical postprocessors, interactive programmes that enables to check and to analyse the results calculated by the solver.
The user interacts with the system through "widgets" whose dialogs are based on different libraries. Interactive graphical user interface produces both, still and animated view.
The postprocessors allow us to obtain the following information in a relatively simple way:
Graphical representations of finite elements mesh plots, animations, contours...
Output time history curve plots from data generated by dynamic finite element simulation software, energy balance, displacements, forces, ...
