ACTIVITY PTS
1 The brief provided by the end-user was full and complete.  
2 Not more than three moulders were approached and all were encouraged to contribute their ideas.  
3 Not more than three mouldmakers were approached; the chosen moulder and mouldmaker discussed and agreed on the essentials of the tool design.  
4 The project (PENTAMODE) team was set up early and:
  1. included all relevant disciplines

  2. individuals clearly had the power to commit their organisation.
 
5 The product specification was optimised and approved by all disciplines.  
6 The mouldmaker reported regularly and responsibly throughout the project.

Terms of payment to all parties were honoured throughout the project. 		 
7 The mould was designed to meet the moulder's agreed specification and utilising the team's expert advice.  
8 The GA was approved in writing by the whole project team.

The mould delivery date and tool trial details were agreed. 		 
9 The mould check list was completed satisfactorily prior to delivery.  
10 The tool trials were conducted:
  1. in the presence of the product designer and the mouldmaker,

  2. in the designated grade of material, and

  3. on the specified model of moulding machine.
 
11 Rectifications were completed speedily.

Modifications were implemented after agreement on cost and time 		 
12 All project records, tool drawings and tapes and parts lists were updated prior to final project (de-briefing) meeting.
