	Here we offer an introduction to the basic physics of air pollution dispersion. You will see some areas in blue type. The purpose of these sections is to expand upon the fundamentals of the subject. If your background in physics or maths is weak you may wish to skip these sections for now, with a view to coming back to them later when you have read the rest of this module and some of the recommended reading.
