Application of the Directive to Apparatus




An apparatus is a finished product, device, component or unit of equipment that has always a direct function intended for the final user and intended to be placed on the market as a single commercial unit.

According to the EMC directive, any apparatus intended to be placed on the market for distribution and final use are fully subject to the provisions of the EMC directive and must be CE marked.
