Case 7 : Application of the EMC Directive to In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices

The general approach is that apparatus covered by the proposal for a directive COM(95) 130 final will be excluded from the application of the EMC Directive, this Directive being specific with respect to the EMC Directive (89/336/EEC), in accordance with Article 2.2, upon the date of entry into force of this specific Directive.
