Training Requirements of EMAS

Ensuring among personnel, at all levels, awareness of:

  1. The importance of compliance with the environmental policy and objectives, and with the requirements applicable under the management established;

  2. The potential environmental effects of their work activities and the environmental benefits of improved performance;

  3. Their roles and responsibilities in achieving compliance with the environmental policy and objectives, and with the requirements of the management system;

  4. the potential consequences of departure from the agreed operating procedures.

Identifying training needs, and providing appropriate training for all personnel whose work may have a significant effect upon the environment.
