Think of a recent development in your area. Imagine that it has not yet been built. Assume you are the developer and need to produce an Environmental Statement. Go through the headings given below, assuming that you are the developer needing to undertake the EA.

1. A description of the likely significant effects, direct and indirect, on the environment of the development, explained by reference to its possible impact on:

  1. human beings;
  2. flora;
  3. fauna;
  4. soil;
  5. water;
  6. air;
  7. climate;
  8. the landscape;
  9. the interaction between any of the foregoing;
  10. material assets;
  11. the cultural heritage;
2. Where significant adverse effects are identified with respect to any of the foregoing, a description of the measures envisaged in order to avoid, reduce or remedy those effects.
