Wheel Camber
The angle between the central vertical plane of the wheel and the vertical plane of the road measured in the transverse direction is called camber angle.
The wheel camber causes a changed rolling process in the direction of the tyre vertical to the road. As a result, the running band is unsteadily loaded and in addition a sidewall deforms. Due to this the wheel resistance force slightly increases.

Summary of the Components of Wheel Resistance
According to the preceding considerations, the total wheel resistance is calculated as the sum of the partial resistances:
In the case of a straight-ahead drive on a dry road - basis for most road resistance calculations - the wheel resistance can be equated to the rolling resistance.
