Camber and Toe Angle
→The kinematic and elasto-kinematic properties of suspensions are of great significance in lateral dynamics of vehicles.
→In order to ensure only one degree of freedom of the wheel carrier, links of finite length are used in suspensions. These produce changes in the position of the wheel during compression and rebound resulting in toe, camber, track and wheelbase as shown.
→To isolate road undulations from the body, rubber bushes are used in the suspension which additionally produce elastokinematic changes, which also has an influence on handling.
