Presentation

Once the test is finished, it is possible to analyse the results obtained for each specimen. The amount of data depends on the type of test.
The necessary information for the next statistical analysis can be obtained from the data registered during the test. The usual way to get this target is to regard the cycle corresponding to the middle of the specimen life as the representative hysteresis cycle. This cycle gives values of the stress range, main stress, strain range, plastic strain range and elastic strain range for the global analysis. When the test is started we do not know the life of the specimen, because of this, it is necessary to register all the parameters throughout the entire the test.
The results obtained in a fatigue analysis can be represented in graphics or in tables.
