A reduction of the high-frequency components of speed superimposed on the transmission input shaft (behind the slipping clutch) can be clearly seen.
Negative effects on the clutch life can be compensated by new linings of sintered metal, ceramics, or fiber-reinforced plastics. An increase in fuel consumption has not been determined.
