Each cell or section should have a method of identifying which machines have an outstanding maintenance work requirement. If possible the works order requesting maintenace activity should be used as the flag. The area supervision should then be responsible for organising the time necessary to have this work done.

Example :

Clear plastic pockets with green backing, one for each machine in an area. Inserting the works order will change the colour and highlight the requirement for action.
