Capability

Having completed the control limit calculations for the chart, we will now go on to calculate the capability indices Cp and Cpk for the process. You may need to refer back to the unit on capability in order to refresh your memory as we proceed.

Once again, we will be using a simple calculation sheet, as shown below, to go through the calculations step-by-step. Therefore, before proceeding, you should print out a copy of the sheet.
