This module is designed to introduce some of the concepts of pollution and by its brief nature cannot cover all of the issues in depth. Issues such as toxicology, (specific exposure routes and susceptibility) have not been covered, nor have the various technologies employed to combat pollution, and we have concentrated on chemical pollution rather than the areas of light or noise.
