Radiated Emission - Pre-compliance Testing

Electronics devices are susceptible to various electro-magnetic fields, at many frequencies.

A disturbance occurs because of conducted Electro-Magnetic Interferences, caused by a "field-to-cable" coupling.

This coupling appears when the line dimensions (PCB track, wires, etc) corresponds at least to a quarter of the wavelength. Of course, this coupling still exists for smaller line dimensions.

Low Frequency

The reproduction of the low frequency illumination of the cables is not possible in a laboratory environment, due to the necessary large dimensions (large wavelength).

In order to simulate these disturbances, a perturbation is directly injected in the cables, via a Coupling-Decoupling -Network (CDN).

Many CDN are available, corresponding to cables from the main, or telecommunication wires, or auxiliary conductors.
