Radiated Emission - Measurement Standards (2)

Due to the reflections on the ground, the field is not uniform along the y axis. It is this necessary to vary the height of the antenna along this axis.

The highest value obtained will be recorded.

The device under test is placed on a rotating plate, in order to find the most radiating side. Measurements using antennae are done along two different polarisations (horizontal and vertical).

If the field E among line d0 (direct illumination) is called E0 and the field among the two lines, d1 and d2 (reflection) is called E1, a phase change DPHI exists between E0 and E1.

If DPHI = Pi + 2&k*PI rad for a given frequency, measurement will give a zero field.

If DPHI = 2*PI+2*k*PI rad for a given frequency, measurement will give double the initial generated field.
