Radiated Emission - Measurement Standards |
Classical apparatus can disturb other ones. For instance here, a simple robot or a PC can lead to disturbances in the vicinity (here a radio). The goal is to characterise the radiated emission capability of such devices. ![]()
D : d corresponds to the distance between the device under test and the antenna :
H : h distance from the device to the ground :
To measure radiated emissions (Electric field E) the main trouble is to take care of reflections from the ground. To insure measurement reproducibility, the ground must be as much a conductor as possible (perfect reflection) and plane. |
