What constitutes BATNEEC for the industry that I am involved in for LAPC?
As with IPC, there are a series of process guidance notes
(PG series) that have been published by the
secretary of State which include the same details as those issued for IPC.
The local authorities are bound to refer to them in their decision making process.
The local authorities will then specify the emission limits that are to be set,
the necessary monitoring methods and operational controls and the heights of
chimneys and vents for emission dispersal.
