How to plot a Number of Defects per Unit (u) Chart

In this unit we will work through how to plot a Number of Defects per Unit (u) Chart using data from a manufacturing environment.

On completion you will be able to:

• record the relevant data in the appropriate sections of the chart
• plot the u-graph on the chart accurately

As you go through the unit you will be asked to complete various exercises on an actual u-Chart. To do this you will need to download and print out an example u-Chart to work on. Do this now.

This unit should take around 40 minutes to complete.
