Introduction to Number of Defects per Unit (u) Charts

In this unit we will be looking at the contents and use of the Number of Defects per Unit (u) Chart.

On completion you will be able to:

• identify the component parts of a u-Chart
• describe how to use a u-Chart
• state the type of data to be recorded and plotted on the u-Chart
