We have identified a problem with Quicktime which will prevent slides in AutoView from synchronising slides when using Quicktime 7.1.5 or later. Unfortunately this is due to changes in the Quicktime security system, we have alerted Apple to this problem and hope that it will be fixed in later versions of Quicktime.
Until Apple fix this problem, all AutoView presentations created using the AutoView 2 format will fail to work correctly with QuickTime 7.1.5+. However, we are able to work around this problem with AutoView 3 presentations and have now implemented a fix. We are gradually upgrading our site content to AutoView 3 but it is likely to be some time before all presentations are using the new format.
If you have upgraded to QuickTime 7.1.5+ and you still need to use QuickTime to view the presentations, you will need to downgrade your QuickTime installation. For windows users, you can download QuickTime 7.1.3 from the OldVersion archive. When installing, please ensure that you untick the option to install apple update, this will stop the player from automatically updating itself to a non-working version again.
